Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including comprehensive accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure strict compliance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting frameworks.
