Responsibilities
- Manage the AP Cycle: Process, verify, and reconcile a high volume of invoices (both domestic and international) with 100% accuracy.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and maintaining positive relationships.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and vendor statement reconciliations to ensure all accounts are up to date.
- System Management: Maintain and update the AP sub-ledger and vendor master files in our accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis as requested by management.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, reconcile complex data, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
