We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in London. As a pivotal member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing monthly and annual close processes, and ensuring full compliance with UK tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Assist with annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and HMRC.
- Ensure compliance with current VAT regulations and tax legislation.
- Oversee the preparation of payroll reconciliations and tax returns.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) or Part-Qualified with significant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax laws, including Corporation Tax and VAT.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in preparing management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
