Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and facilitate external audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal financial regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite is highly desired.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
