Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for leadership review.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and complex financial audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CPA eligibility is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and financial software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
