Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of general ledger accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in external audits and internal control testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
