Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
