Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and implement new accounting software.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
