Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and federal tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in enterprise accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
