- Analyze aging reports to identify and collect outstanding receivables
- Collaborate with coding teams to ensure CPT/ICD-10 accuracy
- Implement process improvements to reduce claim denials by 15% quarterly
- Train staff on billing software updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a multi-specialty practice
- Expertise in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated success in reducing AR days by 20%+
- Strong knowledge of CMS guidelines and commercial payer contracts
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
