Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex insurance claims and patient invoices with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage denial resolution workflows and appeal processes for high-value accounts
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance and documentation
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards for executive leadership
- Implement process improvements to reduce AR days and accelerate cash flow
- Train junior staff on billing systems and regulatory compliance (HIPAA/UB-92)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in Epic Resolute or similar EMR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table functions
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 15%+ in previous roles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify billing discrepancies
- Experience with Nebraska Medicaid and Medicare Advantage programs
