Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee general ledger accounting functions, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to leadership.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
