Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) to streamline financial reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budgeting efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
