Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-of-month and end-of-year closing procedures to ensure all financial statements are accurate and submitted on time.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with a focus on error reduction.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls during night operations.
- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and bank statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
