As a night shift accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and inter-company transfers.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all journal entries are posted accurately.
- Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
