Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile weekend transaction batches for 25+ client accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Coordinate with auditors for weekend compliance reviews
- Process payroll and expense reports within weekend deadlines
- Maintain fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules
- Support month-end closing procedures with weekend-specific tasks
- Implement internal controls for weekend financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend/holiday exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Familiarity with NY state tax regulations and GAAP
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international clients
- Professional certification (CPA/CMA) highly desirable
