Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies during the night close process.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP) to input financial data and generate required reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
