Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
