Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, including reconciliations.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
