Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow management.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (GAAP).
- Perform variance analysis and assist the finance team in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal management to streamline accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the implementation of new accounting software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not mandatory for high-performing candidates.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
