Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for 50+ portfolio companies
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and SOX compliance
- Manage complex tax compliance filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop financial models for M&A transactions and capital raises
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize team workflows
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel modeling
- Proven track record of managing high-volume financial operations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
