Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and coordinate internal control reviews.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare variance analysis reports to identify trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
