Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for corporate and partnership clients
- Manage full-cycle accounting including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Lead tax planning and compliance engagements for small to mid-sized businesses
- Develop and implement internal control systems to ensure financial accuracy
- Provide advisory services on cash flow management and operational efficiency
- Supervise junior accountants and coordinate audit procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced Excel modeling for financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with SEC reporting knowledge
- Expertise in California tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel with VBA skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Active CPA license in good standing
- Experience managing client relationships and cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
