Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop cash flow forecasting models and budgetary analysis
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals during engagements
- Mentor junior accountants and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and corporate taxation principles
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
