Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to improve reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial software integrations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
