Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage full-cycle accounting including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement projects
- Manage tax preparation and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven track record of managing month-end/year-end closes
