Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed reporting to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Support external audits and internal controls implementation.
- Streamline financial reporting workflows using advanced Excel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
