Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and data.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a related role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
