Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and client invoicing.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and budget forecasts for executive review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist with the annual audit process and preparation of tax documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger reconciliation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Must be available to work full-time in our Jacksonville office.
