Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and local compliance filings.
- Perform internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to create budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
