Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and corporate credit cards
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 100+ employees
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting systems
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax filings
- Provide financial forecasting and variance analysis to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Texas state tax codes
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and audits
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
