Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external audits.
- Monitor financial performance by preparing variance analyses and monthly reports.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
