Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and internal controls to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and efficiency.
- Process payroll and manage expense reports for the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite preferred) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Candidates with a CPA license or currently pursuing CPA certification are highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
