Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee complex general ledger operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting processes, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Coordinate external audits and implement internal control improvements
- Spearhead accounts payable/receivable optimization and cash flow management
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for data analysis
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven track record in financial reporting and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
