Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, coordinating with external auditors as needed.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Streamline financial reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
