Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports, variance analysis, and forecasting for senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all payroll-related documentation is up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
