Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with 3+ staff oversight
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Support tax preparation and compliance for corporate entities
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain SOX documentation and internal controls framework
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and California tax regulations
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
