Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and prepaid expenses.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits.
- Monitor and control operating costs within budget to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports as required by federal and state regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
