Your Mission:
As our Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and the integrity of our internal controls. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage complex accounts and contribute to strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, on a monthly and annual basis.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support senior management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
