Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements with detailed variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial reporting standards
- Lead financial audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decision-making
- Streamline accounting processes using QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting for multi-entity organizations
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
