Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of tax filings and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget recommendations.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing requested schedules and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
