Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Reporting: Develop complex financial models and create comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Budget Preparation: Lead the budgeting process for various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Assist senior management in strategic planning by providing actionable insights derived from financial data and market trends.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with GAAP and internal control standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
