Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to drive business performance.
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external audits, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and internal control frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly.
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
