Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies during examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement process improvements
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and Oregon tax regulations
- Proven experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
