Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance
- Advanced expertise in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience managing month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
