Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 high-growth startup clients
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and complex tax returns
- Lead month-end closing processes with detailed reconciliations
- Implement and optimize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Provide strategic financial consulting to C-suite executives
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and improve department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or startup finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and SaaS accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
