Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead account reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage budget forecasting and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and strategic initiatives
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement process improvements
- Coordinate external audits and maintain regulatory compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize team efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and financial audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
