Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Lead process improvement projects for accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting for multi-state operations
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
