Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Lead audits and compliance reviews for corporate and non-profit clients
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and growth strategies
- Mentor junior accountants and supervise accounting interns
- Prepare tax returns and maintain IRS compliance documentation
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Proven track record in audit preparation and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client presentations and team leadership
- Active CPA license or in final exam stages
