Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations for public filings
- Analyze financial trends and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership
- Lead audit preparations and liaise with external auditors and regulators
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial workflows
- Develop and implement internal controls for risk mitigation
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in financial reporting systems (Oracle, SAP)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrated experience with SEC filings and complex reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
